Terms of Service

All monetary values mentioned on RefBounty, including rewards, fees, and balances, are in Canadian Dollars (CAD$) unless otherwise stated.

1. Beta Disclaimer​

RefBounty is currently in Beta. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be bug-free or that user balances will be preserved in the event of a catastrophic system failure. By using this service, you acknowledge the inherent risks of participating in a beta software program.

2. Bounty Program Rules​

  • Offerers: By offering a bounty, you agree to lock the specified amount in your RefBounty balance. These funds will be moved to "Pending" and cannot be withdrawn until the bounty is completed or declined.
  • Receivers: To earn a bounty, you must fulfill the requirements specified in the referral program and provide any necessary verification.
  • Fees: RefBounty collects a 15% service fee on all successfully completed bounties. This fee is deducted from the reward amount before it is credited to the Receiver.

3. Withdrawals​

  • Minimum Amount: The minimum amount for a withdrawal is $15.
  • Withdrawal Fees: RefBounty charges a fixed $2.00 service fee plus any applicable network fees from the Bitcoin blockchain for all withdrawals.
  • Processing Time: We aim to process withdrawals within 72 hours, though network congestion and security reviews may cause delays.

4. Dispute Resolution​

In the event of a dispute between an Offerer and a Receiver:

  • Either party may trigger the "Dispute" action.
  • A RefBounty administrator will review the case, including any provided justification and chat logs.
  • The administrator's decision is final and binding within the RefBounty ecosystem.
  • Funds will be either awarded to the Receiver or returned to the Offerer based on the administrator's ruling.

5. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RefBounty and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

6. Account Termination​

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
